Many people shave intimately and use products that are perfumed or not mild enough. Problems with itching and irritation are not uncommon when shaving the intimate area. That’s why RFSU developed Intim Shave Gel, a softening and transparent shaving gel with a gliding effect for shaving intimate areas.
The gel has a transparent formula that doesn’t lather, so you can see where you’re shaving and makes intimate shaving easier. The gel protects sensitive skin during shaving and reduces the risk of irritation and red spots.

How to use Intim Shave Gel
This shaving gel is specially adapted for intimate shaving but works equally well for legs and underarms. So gentle that it can be used daily.
RFSU Intim Shave Gel softens the skin and at the same time makes the razor glide much better on the skin. This gives you a closer shave and prevents irritation and ingrown hairs.
For best results, use RFSU Intim Shave Gel in the shower and with a sharp and fresh razor. Apply shave gel on the area to be shaved. Rinse off the shaving gel thoroughly and afterwards apply RFSU Intim After Shave Balm.
Tips for a successful shave
Shaving is something many people do, but to avoid damaging the skin or getting small cuts, there are some smart and useful tricks. The key is to always use a sharp and fresh razor. If it is old, there is a risk of bacteria. If it’s not sharp enough, you’ll often have to drag the razor across your skin several times, which will tear away tiny layers of skin and leave it irritated and red.
Also, make sure to prepare your skin and use RFSU Intim Wash Gel before shaving. This will ensure that you have washed the area away from bacteria and minimise the risk of red dots and skin irritation.

Q&A
Can Intim Shave Gel be used for shaving the face?
The shaving gel RFSU Intim Shave Gel is designed to be used for intimate shaving. But because it is made to fit the sensitive intimate area, it can also be used on the face. Try a small area first to ensure there is no skin reaction, especially if you have sensitive skin. Avoid getting the product in your eyes.
Why is it good to choose fragrance-free products especially for the intimate area?
Fragrances may contain substances that can cause allergic skin reactions. The intimate area has particularly sensitive skin so there is a greater risk of a skin reaction.
I often get red spots at the bikini line when I shave, what can I do?
Before shaving, you can pre-treat your skin. First, clean the area to be shaved, for example with RFSU Intim Wash Gel, to remove any bacteria. Then, you can soften the skin with a shaving oil or skin oil to make it more responsive to the razor. For optimal results, you should use RFSU Intim Shave Gel when shaving and have a sharp razor, this to have the least friction. Whitout it, this is usually when you damage the skin and risk red spots. RFSU Intim After Shave Balm soothes the skin and reduces the risk of red spots and skin irritation. Between shaves, we recommend using RFSU Intim Between Shave Serum, which slows down hair growth and prevents ingrown hairs.
